Ryan Handrahan

I make things that solve my own problems, usually while working somewhere interesting.

I've spent 14 years in training and product marketing, most recently at Sonos. Handyware is where I build the tools I wish already existed, usually because something bugged me long enough that I finally fixed it.

Smaller things

Gerald

A very grouchy old man who plans my game nights. He also handles my to-dos and updates my Vestaboard, with help from his imaginary dog, Barkley.

“Back in my day, we didn't have AI assistants, but we also didn't have people asking them to write dating profiles, so there.”

Homelab

A home server I set up to learn what I could self-host. It now runs my photo library, Gerald, Home Assistant, and another app I built to keep track of my dog's health.
